Ways to update your outdoor space for Summer 2018

1. Outdoor Living

Outdoor eating areas are going to be popular this SummerAlfresco dinning is set to be a big thing in 2018, with dedicated areas for entertaining, eating and cooking. Outdoor structures with heating and lighting are also set to be popular garden accessories.

2. Solar Lights

Not only are solar lights excellent for creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere in the garden they are available in many ornamental forms to suit every type of garden and are environmentally friendly

 

3. Asymmetric Paving

The Society of Garden Design predict that asymmetry will be one of the top garden trends for 2018 and gardens will be less structured with edges broken up with planting to give a feeling of a garden that has been there for years.

 

4. Copper

Already a big  interior trend, copper will be used both as a material and a colour in Gardens, providing a contrast to gravel, stone and wood areas and a sense of warmth in planters and ornaments. Limestone paving is going to be popular in mid-tone shades as opposed to white, reflecting the Interior trend for warm neutral colours.
